Hello Bailey Mackenzie Clubb

The wait is over after 9 long months! On April 17th at 9:54 pm our beautiful little girl was born! 8lbs and 13ozs 20.4 inches long and a full head of hair!! She's perfect! I was induced Friday morning at 8Am and went into active labor around 3-4pm and then it was on!! I went totally natural and couldnt be happier about my decision to do that. What an amazing experience! She came out completely alert and wide eyed. The nurses and staff at the Culpeper birthing center were amazing and a huge help to me.We were able to leave the hospital Sunday around noon

She's one week and two days today! John and I are getting into the swing of parenthood. Its a big adjustment but totally worth it. She slept great the first few nights then tested us a bit for two nights she was up all night. We had a great night last night, shes finally getting her days and nights right. Hopefully we can stay that way! Being a mother has come pretty natural, its a bit challenging at times but its all part of the fun. Looking into this sweet little girls faces makes life make sense. John and i are more in love than ever! We just stop and look at her in amazement knowing that we made her!! Just us! What a feeling that is to know that you created another life. An even more intense feeling is knowing that your responsible for this little life.

My life has finally fallen into place. I feel full and whole. I have an amazing husband who has been so much help and suported me though the whole nine months of pregnancy. Its only been 11 months we've been married but we have gone through thick and thin together already. Now having this little blessing in our lives has made us complete (im sure 0ne or two more to come..later) He's already shown me hes a great husband but now I'm seeing what a great father he is too. Im one lucky women to be blessed this much!
